Acne is a uncomfortable and embarrassing skin condition that affects over eighty percent of people from their teens to their thirties, and yet, despite its prevalence, it remains a problem without a cure.

Acne is the most common skin disorder amongst adolescence and adults alike.It has plagued us for generations and continues to affect us today. There are four main causes of acne, as stated by the American academy of dermatology.

I don’t know about you, but I remember when I was a teenager and as luck would have it, I used to break out right before a Saturday night date or any special occasion for that matter. I remember that a bunch of us used to hit the local store and buy all the Stridex Pads and Clearasil we could get! Then we’d get home, soak with burning hot water and remember the alcohol we used to put on our faces? Boy did that burn! But when you’ve got pimples, you’ve just got to do what you have to do to get rid of them!

Acne is one of the most violent and pitiless enemies of the average present-day teenager. A lesser percentage of adults, however, is also involved.
